The service

DAR Scribe ("we") turns immigration court DAR recordings you upload into machine-generated draft transcripts and audio files. A transcript is a draft for attorney review: it is not a certified transcript, it will contain errors, and it is not legal advice. Check any passage you rely on against the recording; the transcript page lets you play each passage.

Beta

The service is in beta. It is free, new customers are approved by hand, and we may decline or cancel an order, change the service or stop it at any time.

Your responsibilities

Upload only recordings you are entitled to have processed, for example as counsel for a party to the hearing.
Your professional obligations, such as confidentiality, supervising the services you use and informing your client, remain yours. The security section describes how recordings are handled so you can assess the service.
Keep your order's private link and sign-in codes to yourself: anyone with both can open the order.
Don't use the service to break the law, or try to disrupt it or reach other customers' orders.

Your recordings and transcripts

They remain yours. We use them only to provide the service to you, never to train or tune any model, and we delete them as the privacy notice describes.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the order concerned (nothing, during the beta).
